Port Aventura
If rollercoasters and the like are your thing then Port Aventura is where to head. As one of the biggest amusement parks in Europe it has everything you could want including a Caribean themed acquatic park to cool off in. If a day's not enough then choose from one of three hotels on site.

Active Natura Adventure park
This family adventure park located near the town of Santa Susanna about halfway between Barcelona and Girona has everything from horse riding to quad biking, a high rope course to Archery and mountain biking.

Foundation for the conservation and rehabilitation of marine animals
Essentially a research institute and rehabilitation centre for marine wildlife though there are 2 hour guided tours available taking visitors throughout the centre ending with a slideshow highlighting the work of the centre and the plight of marine wildlife in the Mediterranean.
