Natural Parks of Catalunya (Catalonia)

Shown below are details on all the Natural and National Parks in Catalunya. In ‘Spanish’ Catalunya there are a variety of terms for the different types of area - Parcs Nacionals, Parcs Naturals, Paratges Naturals d'Interès Nacional, Reserves Naturals and Reserves Marines (Illes Medes in Girona province) and in French Catalunya they are referred to as Les Réserves Naturelles Catalanes. But they are all protected areas to various degrees and all of natural and national importance so, to simplify things, we have given them the catch all title of National Parks.
